This Privacy Policy explains how PrintableResourcesHub.com ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit the Site, create an account, download resources, make a purchase or join our email list.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form)
  • Email list sign-ups: your email address and where you signed up
  • Messages you send us, such as support requests

Information created when you use the Services

  • Orders and memberships: what you bought, prices, discounts, order status, membership plan and renewal dates, and the reference IDs our payment processor gives us
  • Download history: which resources your account downloaded and when
  • Sign-in sessions: a session record that includes the IP address and browser information used to sign in, so we can keep your account secure

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect your account. The Site can't work properly without them
  • Your cart is saved in your browser's local storage on your device
  • We record anonymous usage events, such as a search being performed or a product being viewed, to understand how the Site is used. These events don't include your name, email address or account ID
  • We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools that use cookies, we will update this policy first

We use your IP address briefly to prevent abuse (for example, to limit download and sign-in attempts). For that purpose it is converted into a one-way code rather than stored.

How we use information

  • To create and manage your account and sign you in
  • To process orders and memberships, deliver downloads and provide receipts
  • To send service emails, such as purchase confirmations, password resets, renewal and payment notices
  • To send newsletters and news about new or free resources if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
  • To respond to support requests
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents
  • To understand and improve the Site and our resources
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

  • With service providers that help us run the Site, such as Stripe (payments), our hosting provider and our email delivery provider, who may use it only to provide services to us
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or ourselves
  • As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information

How long we keep information

  • Account information: while your account is open, and deleted within a reasonable period after you ask us to close it
  • Order and payment records: as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, which is typically up to 7 years
  • Sign-in sessions: they expire after 30 days of inactivity
  • Email list subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
  • Anonymous usage events: they contain no personal information and may be kept for longer

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
  • Correct inaccurate information (you can update your name in Account settings)
  • Delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we don't sell or share it in that way

Residents of US states with consumer privacy laws, including California, have these rights under those laws, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running and securing the Site, and with your consent for marketing emails; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email support@printableresourceshub.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we'll respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults — teachers, parents and other educators. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and a trusted payment processor. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

International users

We may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice, such as by email.
